Aquatics
 The Sylvester Powell Jr. Community
Center features a zero entry pool along
with a mushroom, two story slide, lazy
river and lap lanes. The aquatics area also features a whirlpool tub, sauna and steam room. Families can take advantage of the family changing room.

Did you know?

Pool Rules
All patrons must shower before entering the pool.
Appropriate swim attire is required.
Entrance through locker room only.
No food or beverages in pool.
Smoking is not permitted.
Please walk.
Rough play or unsafe actions are not permitted.
All swimmers must demonstrate the ability to swim in area desired.
No diapers please.
No water wings allowed. Only Coast Guard approved life-jackets.
Staff must approve all floatation devices.
Follow lifeguard directions at all times.
Do not enter pool if you have a communicable or infectious disease.
Slide Rules
No swimming in Slide Catch Pool when slide is open.
Children must be 48” tall.
No goggles, glasses, fins, metal watches, metal zippers, buckles, rivets, buttons or other rough surfaces allowed on slide.
No floatation devices allowed on slide.
Only 1 person on the slide at a time.
Feet first only – no stopping.
Exit Splash Pool immediately.
Parents or adults may not catch children at bottom of slide. Lifeguards only.
Warning: Pregnant women and persons with heart or back conditions should not use the slide
Spa
Spa users must be at least 14 years old.
10 Person Limit
Persons with open sores, infection or rashes are not permitted in the spa.
Rough play is not permitted in spa.
Proper swim attire is required in the spa.
Spa use time limited to 15 minutes.
Warning: Women who are pregnant or persons on medication and persons with high blood pressure should consult physicians prior to use.
Do not enter spa if you have a communicable or infectious disease.
